Jenna Rencz - Executive Wedding Planner / Owner

My name is Jenna L. Rencz and I am the creative talent behind Signature Weddings. I have a degree in Technical Communications/Graphic Design. I am a certified wedding coordinator that is recognized by the Wedding Planning Institution of Canada. My professional background includes; weddings, social and corporate event planning as well as promotional work for Givenchy, Mercedes and BMW. I spent two years working as the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Four Points Sheraton and had the pleasure of orchestrating over 100 weddings, coordinated receptions and social functions, and created corporate events for many large businesses. The knowledge and experience I gained from these endeavors was invaluable. It allowed me to possess a well-rounded knowledge and understanding of the industry and to develop priceless relationships with many amazing vendors.

I always loved event planning, but discovered my true passion in July 2008, while planning my very own wedding and loved every second of it. It dawned on me that I am at peace and pure joy when planning weddings. I always had a strong passion and talent for weddings and special events and a true desire to work with people. I decided that I would love to bring the same peace and joy to many by continuing to help others plan their wedding. It is such an amazing feeling knowing that I was privileged to share a couple's special day; which is full of love and excitement.

I am truly ecstatic that I have found the career that is meant for me in my hometown Canmore, and I hope I have the opportunity to work with you and share the joy of your special day.

Lisa Montanini - Assistant Wedding Planner

Lisa’s organization skills have been developed and refined over the years while working as both an office manager of a multi-disciplinary health care facility and as a full-time student at the University of Calgary. In June of 2009, Lisa completed her BA in Communications and Culture with a major in Law and Society and minor in Women’s Studies with the intent of continuing onto law school. Lisa took such great joy in event planning, working readily with others, and being in a positive work environment that her career goals quickly changed. Really - what better time is there to work with someone than preparing for the happiest day of their life?

Known as a professional problem solver, Lisa strives for excellence in paying attention to detail and being mindful of the full responsibilities an event planner must assume. Lisa has designed and directed countless fundraising campaigns, social functions and corporate events of all shapes and sizes and is thrilled to be putting her talent, experience and enthusiasm into weddings.

Lisa has an extensive knowledge of the Canmore/Banff area and truly believes that there is no better place in the world to host your wedding than the exquisite Canadian Rocky Mountains.
